http://www.rockbuster.com/ – RockBuster has been building quality water well drilling rigs for nearly 2 decades. As the name implies, their drilling equipment is made for getting through the thick rock formations that exist in Texas. Their equipment is manufactured right here in Texas (Jewett) and Lee Wood, Rockbuster’s operations manager, is extremely easy to deal with and has your answers. Rockbuster currently offers 3 different models:

R77- Portable trailer rig rated to 400 ft.

R77 Mag – The R77 with a hydraulic pull down and with more power (also rated to 400 ft.)

R100 – Portable trailer rig rated to 700 ft, hammer drilling method capability, water and air (up to 750 psi) included

Water-84 – This unit pushes 2 3/8ths Mayhew Junior drill pipe to 500 ft (comes with 300 ft.), all steel welded frame, and has additional options of 4” to 6” hammer and hammer bits to get through rock formations

Geothermal- Identical to the “84” except a hydraulic powered grout pump/mixer and hose reel instead of the fixed water tank on the rig
